Personal History
Early life: Kara has lived all her life at Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She's the daughter of Polish immigrants, Ladislaw and Bronislawa Wolenczak, and a first generation American like her brother Lucas. She was raised to Polish costumes and gained the nickname of Polski, which literally means Polish in Polish, by the kids in middle school. She took the nickname for her whole life and rather likes it, later using it as a call sign when she joined the military. Act which her now deceased grandfather, a Polish veteran, thought was more fitting to her brother than his little girl, but Lucas wanted nothing with the military and graduated in Law in 2006. She underwent Junior ROTC in her home city and later left Milwaukee and joined the USMA as an helicopter pilot wannabe, enrolling for the joint program between West Point and UND that started in 2003. Transfered to the SGA for exceptional academic and training results after her second year at West Point.

Kara is a jokester and a fun loving young woman, which tends to place her in a quite bad spot sometimes on diplomatic missions. She is very observant and can pick up things that are in the air. At the same time, she can be very dense when it comes to her own feelings. She is a friend to all, but she really lets only a handful get into her heart.

Do you agree with the rules of Stargate Academy? Yep
Are you a member of any of our affiliates? Stargate Delta, I hope to get back there too.
Roleplay Example:
This day couldn't get any worse. First, there was the dressing down by the team leader due to a simple joke that came out at the wrong time. Then, there was the mission to P3X-385, the sand from that world was still everywhere on her body. And to top it off there was the kidnapping by a Goa'uld ship they were told was an ally. It wasn't exactly like that. The ship belonged to the Lucian Alliance and not the Free Jaffa Nation as the SGC was lead to believe.
Trapped in a cell inside the Alkesh going God knows where through hyperspace, Kara and her team waited to know what the Lucians wanted with them and why the elaborate ruse. It wasn't like a bunch of cadets would have any really important information, the official teams where the ones to grab for that.
Kara was relaxed and seating on the ground. She couldn't help but to crack a joke which was in her nature. "Piece of cake mission they said. I think we're gonna get to the party soon, but there'll be everything there but cake." She said and then the whole team laughed as they felt the ship drop out of hyperspace.
