Personal History
Early life:
Parker grew up in Goldsboro, North Carolina, home of the Seymour Johnson Air Force Base all of his life. The sounds of Harriers and F-16s flying overhead became the soundtrack of life, as well as the commonality of military life. Neither of his parents were military, but they did work on the base, as many locals did. His mother worked in the Human Resources office and his father worked with transports and communications. Naturally, he was exposed to the wonders of the Air Force, especially when the season for Air Shows came around. He had always attended them when he was younger, and became more involved as he worked with his parents on the base as a courier. He met and befriended many pilots who showed him the ropes of Air Force life, especially that involving flying the birds. Parker was interested and quietly soaked everything up like a sponge. However, everything changed after a special encounter with USAF Reserve Pilot Ed Hamill when he was at the Air Show in 7th Grade and he knew what he wanted to do.
Taking the pilot's advice to heart, Parker set his goal of entering the US Air Force Academy after high school. He had always been extremely bright in math and science, especially physics. Once he reached high school, he enrolled in the JROTC, although it was for the Army as opposed to the Air Force. None the less, he forced himself to excel in the program as well as in academics and athletics. In middle school, he had played soccer and carried over into his high school career, where he played all four years and earned MVP his senior year. During his senior year, he was also CO of the JROTC. His advisors knew of his aspirations and did everything within their power to help him. After all, in a small school with a class of 150, it wasn't that hard to do. Some of his teachers even pitched in to help him afford the cost of going to the Summer Session at the USAFA the summer before his senior year. By then, he had made his decision.
Graduating as Tertiary for his class, he made the final arrangements for entering the US Air Force. Choosing to major in Aeronautics, he focused on Aircraft Structures and Aerodynamics. Ultimately, he hoped that this would lead to him developing new kinds of aircrafts and perfecting those that already existed. Sure, it was a lot to hope for, but a guy could dream, couldn't he? Upon completion of CBT, he was finally accepted at the USAFA.
Within his first year at the Academy, he was beginning to make a splash. Thanks to his prior knowledge of many USAF aircrafts from the pilots he had befriended at Seymour Johnson AFB, he spent a good amount of his time outside of class shadowing many of the engineers and potential pilots in the hangars. As the aircrafts in the hangar became more familiar to him, he began to take interest in those that were being tested for outer atmospheric flight. Thus, he began to dabble in astronautics as well.
One of his professors caught him sketching out a very advanced sketch of a spacecraft, and referred him to Major General Michael Kerrigan, who put Parker through several tests that seemed to assess his ability to withstand high security protocol.
After the testing, it was summer, and Parker heard nothing of the results. As the new academic year approached, he was contacted about enrollment in a highly confidential program within the Academy. Not thinking twice about it, really, he accepted. Two weeks prior to the new academic year, he was put through several grueling hours of educational video starring a man named Dr. Daniel Jackson. From that moment on, everything changed.
Within a matter of days, he would begin training within the Stargate Academy.
Education:
-Greenwood Middle School, Goldsboro, NC
-Goldsboro High School, Goldsboro, NC
-US Air Force Academy (one year)
Military Record:
-USAFA Summer Session
-Cadet Basic Training
-US Air Force Academy (1 Year)
-Notified of transfer to SGA, summer 2007
Family:
Father- James Parker Hall Jr., known as Jimmy
Mother- Allison Morton Hall
Personality:
Parker kept these to himself for the most part. He was smart and extremely creative, but remained rather introverted. Not to mention, he’s completely clueless around girls. In high school, he was your all around nice guy, mingling with different friends in different groups, but he never had anything really steady. Being in a military town, most of the friends he made never really stayed around very long. With that under consideration, he never really grew too attached to people, but remained very friendly. He spends a good amount of his free time drawing. In his portfolio are sketches of aircraft structures and numerous equations for some rather far-out concepts for spacecrafts that he designed.

Outside Testing Room 425
The echos of footsteps down the long corridors of the US Air Force Academy did not distract Parker from the task at hand. The form was not very difficult to figure out. Name. Birthdate. Social Security Number. You know, all those lovely little juicy details. Being the only one sitting on the bench along the wall next to the door, the form was a welcome task, as opposed to doing nothing. The packet he received in the mail said to show up 15 minutes early to the testing site. Leave it to Parker to show up 45 minutes early, with nothing to do.
Well, not nothing, exactly...
Once he filled out the form and handed it to the rather formidible, uniformed gentleman at the door. The man nodded, and put the form in a file. Parker stood, grabbing the information packet at his side and prepared to enter the testing room, but the man raised his hand.
"I'm sorry, sir, but the proctor isn't here yet. I can't let you in." Nodding slightly, he resumed his seat on the bench, pausing a moment, then letting out a slight sigh. Always a waiting game for him. It was a waiting game at the airport on the flight from North Carolina to Colorado, thanks to some technical problems. It gave him a slight satisfaction to know that when he finished here he would be able to fix any problem an airplane had. That is...if he got in, of course.
However, since he did not know how to fix the jet, he sat in the concourse, waiting. While he waited, he drew. It was his thing. Not people. That would just be creepy. People watching? No, thanks. People scared him, really. They were all so...crazy. The human race was a strange one. To changing and unpredictable. No, he was more into inanimate objects. Not to sound funny, of course. Aircrafts, more specifically. He was one of those kids who took things apart and put them back together as a child. Since the Air Force wasn't going to loan him an F-16 just yet, he had to simply do with doing that on paper. Of course, when he drew, he didn't draw things exactly as they should have been. There were always ways to make things better...
Almost out unthinkingly, he had pulled out the information packet that gave him directions, well...orders to be here and what he was preparing for. They would test now for about three hours, break for lunch, then find out the results after. Not bad, eh? At the top of the page, he saw the border had several aircraft used by the Air Force. He looked at that for a while, identifying it quickly, then flipping over the paper and sketching out the schematics for that particular jet. He had seen it before, back home. In fact, the engineers his dad worked for had actually let him see the original set of blueprints. His sketch was merely a copy of those...
Just something to pass the time, he thought, becoming so engrossed in his sketch that he did not even notice that folks were starting to fill in some of the seats on the benches around him. He could be so oblivious sometimes...
